Over 3 Months?!
I can't believe my baby is over 3 months old already!! I just went back to work on Aug 18th, and she is doing great at daycare! We have only had one bad day. She doesn't nap well at daycare, so they need to work on that, but otherwise she does good! Obviously a lot has happened since I last posted and she was 17 days old! We had a little bit of a rough start, she was very colicky and I never could get her on a schedule. At about 6 or 7 weeks we moved her into her crib, and she did so good, I think we all slept better after that. She is a very loud sleeper, every little noise she made we would jump up and check on her. Also, around that time she preferred sleeping on her tummy, I think she has a little reflux, so she just slept better like that. I was so nervous the first night in her crib on her tummy, but she always had good neck control, and she has done just fine! Currently she goes to sleep around 7:30 and sometimes wakes up at 1am and then around 4 or 5am, other times she will not wake up until 3 or 4am. So I really can't complain, she just takes a bottle and goes right back to sleep. Just as I was going back to work, I lost my milk supply, so we had to switch to formula. I think that worked out the best for her because she had such bad gas on breastmilk, she would have a couple fits a day because of gas. We switched her over to Similac Sensitive, and she does SO much better! I felt very guilty and still kind of do, not being able to breastfeed longer, but I made it 3 months! I didn't think I would miss it, but I do, the other day I was holding her and I wanted to nurse her, but of course I couldn't. I keep telling myself that this formula makes her feel so much better!
So at 3 months, she is sooo smiley and her hands are ALWAYS in her mouth! We put her in her exersaucer(sp?) and she tries to put the toys in her mouth, she is really gaining her hand eye coordination, I swear everyday I'm amazed at what she can do. Today, I had her laying on the floor and she ALMOST rolled over, she was on her side, but couldn't quite figure out how to make it all the way, I could see she was getting a little frustrated. She will be rolling pretty quick!
Its amazing how much I love her! Everyday I come home and probably kiss her like 50 times before she goes to bed, I just want to squeeze her! I remember when she was born my husband said, isn't it crazy how you can love somebody so much that you have never met? I don't even remember what life is like without her, and don't want to even think about it. I can't believe how big she is already! We have her 4 month appt in only 3 more weeks!
So, at her newborn visit she was 7lbs 8oz (40th percentile), 20 inches(55 percentile) At her 2 month visit she was 13lbs 5 oz(93 percentile) 23.5 inches (83 percentile) haha what a difference!!! I'm curious to see if she evens out a little at her 4 month visit! I love her little rolls and love that I gave her those!
I'm on my husbands work computer, and can't find the picture of her he has, so I'll have to update later.

Its Going
We are at day 17 now, Aryana is eating every 2 to 3 hours. When we were at the hospital I swear she slept for like 4 hours at a time, and I told my husband, she is going to be angel here and turn into a monster when we get home. Well, she isn't a monster, but she isn't sleeping as great, which I should have suspected. At night she sleeps in her pack n play bassinet and during the day she sleeps in her bouncer. I am stressing about trying to get her on some type of schedule, but I don't think its the right time yet. I think it might still be a little early. BTW, how the heck do you get a newborn on a schedule, aren't they on their own schedule? At what point can you start getting them into a schedule?
Finally I was able to save down some pictures that I took the last couple days. So here she is! I swear to you I can see her changing everyday!

Birth Story
First, I can't believe its been 10 days already since baby girl was born!
Here goes, Friday night the 20th we went to bed, and before that day I had never experienced a contraction or a braxton hick. I was 38 weeks and 5 days. During the night I was having annoying period like cramps, and it was a little uncomfortable. I got up to use the bathroom and wiped some blood. I woke my husband up and he thought we should call the doctor, it was about 2:30am. The doctor said to just stay put and if contractions start and get closer together to call back. I'd say around 3am I had my first contraction, it wasn't too bad, pretty light and they started out about 9mins apart. This went on for a couple hours, and I finally went back to sleep for about 45 mins. At around 8am my husband made breakfast, and the contractions were getting a little stronger, but I decided to eat, and I did end up having some hot sauce on my eggs. I'd say after breakfast is when the contractions really started getting intense. I took a shower and by that time my contractions were about 4 mins apart or a little less. We called the doctor again, and they told us to come in. I was dilated to about a 3 when we got there, my last doctors appt I was barely a 1. I think we got to the hospital about 10-10:30am. It was so weird how my contractions got so much more intense when we got the hospital, to the point where I as getting sick. They didn't have a room open yet, so we were in the triage area. Going into this, I wanted to see how far I could get before getting an epidural, so I waited till it was unbearable. We were still in the triage area an hour or two later, when I asked for the epidural, but they had to wait till we got a room. We finally got a room at about 12:30 and I was literally begging for the epidural at that point, right before 1pm, the doctor came in to check me and I was already an 8 or 9! I literally said "Oh my God" I could not believe that I had made it that far so quickly. He did let me get the epidural, which I got at 1pm. The baby was still pretty far up, so they had me lay there for a couple hours for her to labor down. I did still have a little pain on one side, but nothing unbearable. I was still getting sick as well, I had major acid reflux from my breakfast that morning. Finally at about 3:45pm, I started pushing, and by 4:37pm she was born! I have to say, I never would have imagined that everything would have went that fast! But glad it did. My husband was so great the whole time, I was a little worried beforehand because he gets pretty grossed out easily, but he did GREAT!
Of course I don't have any pictures on this computer, so I will try to post some soon!

Randomness
WOW, I only have 14 days left, or 21 days if baby girl is late!!! I am so anxious to meet our baby girl, I'm not even at the point where I am uncomfortable, it is more that I just want to meet her! My husband is getting excited, he keeps asking me when she is going to drop and different things that should happen if I'm going into labor. I have to say that pregnancy has been nothing like I expected, I barely was sick in the beginning, I haven't had any cravings, I haven't been emotional, I can't really complain about anything. The worst that has happened is my feet swell up and if I sit too long my back hurts, but other than that I sleep great, I just get up to use the bathroom and fall right back to sleep. I've just heard so many stories about other women, and I really feel fortunate!
Our anniversary was a couple weeks ago, and we went up north to a little cabin for the weekend, it was so nice and relaxing! The weather wasn't great, but we just hung out and enjoyed spending time together. Everybody keeps saying we aren't going to get that once baby girl is born.
The other day at dinner my husband looked at me and said "I hope our daughter has your smile" it was the cutest thing ever! I told him he has a great smile too, but he said he wanted her to look like me.
So, I have 2 appts left and then if she isn't here we are scheduling an induction within a week of my due date! I am just so excited!! Everything is ready just waiting for her arrival!
We haven't picked a name yet, we have narrowed it down to 5 and going to make a decision once we see her!! I hope it doesn't take too long!
Well, that's all I can think of right now, I know it was all over the place, but just wanted to write it down!

33 weeks
I am a couple days early, but wanted to get this out here. We have been so busy since the beginning of March with showers and finding daycare, which by the way, we found one!!! So excited about that! I had two great showers, one was thrown by my good friend and another by my Mom. We got just about everything we needed, only had to buy a few more things!
How far along? 33 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: +20 lbs
Sleep: Pretty good, I get up about twice a night, but it is getting harder to roll over from side to side when my hips start hurting
Food cravings: Nothing in particular.
Best moment this week: Buying some last minute things for the baby. It didn't happen this week, but we have all of her furniture and everything set up in her room!
Movement: YES!! I just love it. I am finally starting to see a pattern, but I swear this kid is going to be bony! I'm not sure if I feel a knee or a heel, but once in a while something is sticking out and it is so hard!!
Labor Signs: No
Gender: Sticking with girl!
Stretchies: Nothing yet.
Belly Button in or out? Pretty much out, I never thought that would happen with my major innie!
What I miss: Nothing at all.
What I am looking forward to: The baby coming, I just can't wait to meet her!
Symptoms: swelling and just slowing down, we have 3 flights of stairs in our house and it is getting harder and harder to climb up!
Milestones: Making it to the 3rd trimester, and getting into the every two week appts!
Weekly wisdom: Ask for help, and sit down and put your feet up once in a while!
Emotions: Still very excited, can't wait to meet our baby girl and see what she looks like!
I'll leave you with a 32 week picture!
